I don't like excuses... I tend to make them a lot.

Don't let dumb things affect your life... if you start getting bitchy people will act that way towards you. Talk it over right away calmly and without making those dumb excuses; and then get over it and do something fun/productive. The worse thing to do is to ignore the problem.

This applies to all aspects of life.

For more specifically art, I couldn't replicate a photo decently before but now I can so on to the next step. I'm not going to completely make things up out of my head cuz I don't think I'm at that level yet so I'm doing this whole thing where I combine two references to make an entirely new painting. This is super helpful.
